This is a beautiful park. A small lake offers walking trails, paddle boats, canoes, and fishing. The river runs through and there is the western-most stand of Palmetto trees in a small swamp surrounded by trails and green forest everywhere. The wildflowers are crazy this year, the skies are clear and blue every day and the nights cool and sweet. But My Kid Won’t Eat Anything Else

In California, some counties are looking at trying to ban toys in fast food meals in order to make for healthier kids.  That's Crap.  They're not eating the TOYS….and they certainly didn't drive themselves there and order and pay for the fatty or sugary or cholesterol laden lovelies on the menu.  If there are toys that make kids fat, they're computer based games and television. Hot Summer, Cool Food

In Texas now, it's sometimes 80 degrees during the day, which is great for me because I like it hot, but hard on the ice supply in our coolers.  With a little ingenuity and some spending money, we have come up with a great solution.
